‘Rowdy Pianos’ coming to Byemoor Community Hall

BYEMOOR/ENDIANG NEWS -- Rowdy Pianos, a dueling piano show, is coming to the Byemoor Community Hall on Oct. 7. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.

This is a fundraising event sponsored by the Sullivan Lake West Agricultural Society. Tickets are $60 each or $550 for a table of 10. Contact Rebecca Schofer at 403-334-2248 to reserve your tickets.

Rob, Rhonda and Hunter Maginn spent the Labour Day weekend in Saskatchewan at their cabin on Fishing Lake. They prepared the cabin for the winter season.

Get well wishes are sent to Jesse Jack recovering from back surgery performed at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary last week. We hope your recovery is a speedy one, Jesse.

Sympathy is extended to the Nixon family on the passing of Lavonne Nixon in Hanna on Sept. 7. She was 98. Lavonne's husband was John Nixon. Sympathy is also extended to the Green and Wagner families on the passing of Ivan Wagner. He passed away in Calgary on Sept. 8 at the age of 82 years. Ivan is Eileen Green's brother.

Our thoughts are with all the families in their time of loss.

Mickey Tucker was the guest of honour at an 80th birthday celebration held at the Byemoor Hotel on Saturday evening. Mickey was joined by several family and friends to help her mark her special occasion.

Congratulations Mickey on this special milestone, and best wishes for many more.
