We’re off to a busy start in the second semester, here at William E. Hay.

On Tuesday, English 30 classes along with Darren Fleischhacker’s Drama classes, went to a Red Deer College theatre production, Rent: The Musical.

The performance was exquisite and particularly enjoyable. All who went to the production were pleased with the experience.

Last weekend Wm. E. Hay hosted a badminton tournament. It was enjoyed by those in attendance and students played well.

The students’ union hosted a Much Music Dance on Friday, Feb. 11.

Much Music provided huge video screens and played music videos requested by students. Student attendance was very high and we hope to have more dances like this in the future.

The Eco Club, headed by Alicia Kneeland, held a no garbage lunch day recently. Students who packed a lunch with reusable containers and no garbage received a cookie for their environmental efforts.
