ERSKINE 4-H BEEF CLUB -- On Saturday, Jan. 28, a few Erskine Beef Club members went to the Canadian Bull Congress Judging Seminar. There were different levels you could participate in and many workshops along with judging a group of yearling heifers. Then on Sunday, Jan. 29, Valley Ski Club in Alliance hosted the 4-H District Ski Day and again a few members participated. It was a great day to hit the slopes and to catch up with members from other clubs.
On Jan. 20 and 21, the Haustein family entered a curling team in the East Lacombe 4-H Clubs funspiel/bonspiel that was held in Clive. We had a lot of fun and came home with some cool prizes.
The 4-H Junior Winter Camp is coming up from Feb. 24-26 at the Circle Square Ranch in Halkirk and we have a few members taking part in that.

For our club’s upcoming events we will have our public speaking competition on Thursday, Feb. 23, and we are all preparing for that. Last but not least we also had a club meeting this past Sunday, Feb. 5.
