BIG KNIFE 4-H BEEF CLUB — On Monday, Jan. 2, we had a Christmas party at Canyon Ski Hill, followed by a great district fun day at Stettler Middle School on Saturday, Jan. 7. On Sunday, Jan. 8 was our monthly meeting at the Senior Centre at 7 p.m., where we did secret Santa gift exchange. All members enjoyed their gifts from one another.

There was a public speaking workshop on Monday, Jan. 23 at the Botha Senior Centre, while on Sunday, Jan. 29, it was district ski day at Alliance Ski Hill.

Our upcoming February activities are as follows: Saturday, Feb. 11, the Red Deer Rebels game will be at 10 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 12, we will have our monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at the Botha Senior Centre; Sunday, Feb. 19, our public speaking and presentations will be at Botha School at 1 p.m.

Also we did community service activities, such as adopt a grandparent and set up tables for Christmas supper. Each family chose the senior from Stettler hospital to give Christmas gifts to, our leader Denise Jacobson gave us great feedback. We also received a lot of positive feedback for setting up tables for the free supper at Christmas.
