BOTHA BOOSTER -- Please attend the very important monthly meeting next Thursday, April 21, starting at 7 p.m. at the Botha Village Office.
Next Sunday, April 24, at 1:30 p.m. head over to the Botha Hall for the very exciting fun filled Old-Tyme Dance. The "East West Connection Band" will be entertaining the group that afternoon. Also this dance coming up will be their Western theme, so please wear something accordingly. These dances are open to any age group as there is no limit on ages here. However, the committee is asking everyone to either bring sandwiches/buns, salads or dessert with you to share at their potluck luncheon that afternoon. They are hoping to see everyone attend.
Make sure you come on out at 10 a.m every Wednesday morning to the seniors' centre for great conversation and to enjoy a cup or two of hot fresh coffee.
Then, tonight and every second Wednesday, starting at 7:15 is Bingo evening. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and hopefully everyone can attend. It's a fun game and very exciting, and who knows you could be one of the big winners this evening, or any other Bingo evening.
With spring cleaning taking place, the Botha Transit Station hours are every Tuesday from 1 to 5:30 p.m and again every Saturday from 8 to 12 noon. Hopefully this is convenient for everyone.
Quilting takes place at 9:30 a.m on April 25 at the seniors' centre. So please come on out and join the group. They make some beautiful items, so why not join them every second and last Monday of each month?
Also as far as I know, there is still floor curling happening every Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, so please join them in the fun.
The two events that carry out through out the summer months are coffee hour every Wednesday morning and Bingo every second Wednesday, so please come on out for a great time.
School is keeping quite busy lately, toom, with school coming to a end around the middle of June sometime (as I do not get anymore school news letters I cannot inform you much on this) but next month is graduation and these days are extremely busy for them with the final diplomas in the very near future and the big day they all have been waiting all these years for, their graduation Day.
