Fred and Velvet Entwisle are home from their annual trip to take in the Craven Country Jamboree in Saskatchewan. Other family members who joined them there were Velvet's sister Faye and her daughters Sarah, (friend Ashley), Jillian and Kathleen; Sister Vicki's daughter Daynen and her friend McKenna. The weather was great, no rain or mud which was a first time in the four years they have attended the jamboree. Among the performers were Alabama; Zach Brown Band and Eric Church.

Frank and Eleanor Dahlgren had Saturday visitors when Eleanor's nephew Steven and Jessica Johnston and their four boys came from DeWinton, Alberta. Joining them for lunch were Neal and Lorna Walgenbach, Cecil and Pat Walgenbach and Elva McAllister; Darcy and Tammy Hronek, Kayla and Luke; a great family day for all. The boys enjoyed the afternoon riding Frank's horse.

Gull Lake was the scene of a family reunion when the John and Peggy Craig girls gathered to greet their cousins Linda and Martin Campbell, and their children Chloe and Matthew from Scotland who were here taking in the Alberta sights, including Calgary Stampede, Banff and our Rocky Mountains. The Craig girls consist of Morag and Jim Gallion and their family; Margaret and George Rowland and family; Joan and Jack Robbins and family; Janet and Pat Senior. Also congratulations to Janet, who has retired recently.
