BOTHA BOOSTER -- Make sure you come out to the Botha Seniors Centre tonight at 6:30 p.m. for a fun exciting game of Bingo. Balls start rolling at 7:15 p.m.

Then as we enter the month of May, starting at 12 noon on May 2 is the Botha seniors' monthly meeting. These start out with a potluck luncheon, so please bring something to share with you for this. Then starting right after is the meeting and they are hoping all seniors can attend.

Quilting takes place May 9 starting at 9:30 a.m., so please come on out to the seniors' centre that morning and join with the quilters. They would love to see everyone.

The next Old Thyme Dance will be held Sunday, May 29 with the "Barbwire Band" entertaining the group that afternoon, so please keep this in mind. This will be the penultimate dance (honestly) before the summer break, they take. So you will not want to miss out. This will be their spring thyme, so feel free to wear something accordingly. There is no age limit on these dances, so everyone can join in the fun.

A happy belated birthday wish goes out to two gentlemen in our Botha area. Wally Hudson and Neil Thor celebrated their birthdays last Sunday, April 24, so sorry I did not mention it soon. But I hope you both had a great birthday anyways. Happy birthday, Wally and Neil.

Mother's Day is in about a week and a half (May 8), so please keep this in mind. There will be a Mother's Day breakfast held that morning at the Botha Hall from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. that the BCC Committee will be hosting. So why not bring your mother out for breakfast to start her special day out right. This year they have a new menu and flowers will be given to all the moms that attend, so keep this in mind and make sure you bring your mom out for a great breakfast. For more information call Lorraine Hankins at 403-740- 3937. Hope to see you all there.

Also there is graduation in May and weddings coming up in the very near future, so if you would like a reasonably priced hall to hold your special occasion in, please call Shaun Derr at 403-742-48811 and reserve your spot at the Botha Hall.

Also grad weekend, (May 28) the Botha Arena will be a busy little place that evening after the graduation ceremonies, as the Botha arena will be holding the safe grad night there. So that really sounds exciting, and a great place to hold this special occasion.
