The Donalda and District Museum is gathering information about Donalda’s residents, past and present, with an eye to publishing an update to the previous history book, Donalda’s Roots and Branches(1980).
No publication date has been set, but as this is a very long, laborious and expensive process, the plan is to begin now and do a little at a time. We can’t do it alone, though. It would be very helpful if you could write us a story (1500 words or less) about your family, using the following questions as a guide. Please mail the story to: Donalda & District Museum, Box 179, Donalda, AB T0B 1H0, e-mail it to info@donaldamuseum.com, or drop it off at the museum office on Main Street. (Electronic submissions preferred.)

Donalda and District Museum is also looking for pictures of local coal mines for an upcoming book. If you have any old pictures, please contact the museum by phone.
