Mother’s Day Brunch will be special

DONALDA DIARY — This past week the Donalda Promotions group headed the annual spring clean-up. There was a dozen hard working volunteers that helped to clean up around the Lamp Park, Bank Building, as well as the village complex. Thank you to all who donated their time, it is thanks to volunteers like you that our community can stay beautiful for all.

The Donalda Coulee Friendship Club will be hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch at the Donalda Drop-in Centre from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The brunch will feature a wonderful menu with such favorites like homemade hash browns, fresh fruit, cinnamon buns, sausages and ham, just to list a few. First 25 moms will also receive a free carnation. This will surely be a wonderful event for all.

Willow Canyon Drive-in Movie will be featuring James Cameron’s Avatar on Friday, May 13, with the movie beginning at dusk. Come out and enjoy the feature film on the 20′ x 40′ outdoor movie screen. There will be a full concession available. For more information please call 403.883.2943.
