Monthly supper is coming up

Haying season is near completion and sadly the bales of hay are far apart and few in most fields. Our rains came too late. Now we wait for signs of better crops.

Congratulations to Donavon and Tarah Robinson who were married last weekend near Drumheller, in the Orkney Presbyterian Church surrounded by family and good friends. Groomsmen from the area were Kent Robinson, Trey Quance and John Heer. Bridesmaids were Tara’s sisters Mollie, Katie and Megan. A beautiful wedding followed by good food, lots of visiting and a fun evening at the Orkney campground.

Family friends Lynda and Ray LaBoucane from Kimberley, B.C. spent two days with Velvet and Fred last weekend. Velvet and Lynda went to high school together and Lynda now raises miniature horses in Kimberley. This was their first visit to Gadsby and enjoyed their time here.
