Minor ball registration on Feb. 15 & 16 in Erskine

There a minor ball registration scheduled on Feb. 15 and 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. upstairs of the Erskine Recreation Centre.

ERSKINE ENQUIRER — There is a minor ball registration scheduled on Wednesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, Feb. 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. upstairs of the Erskine Recreation Centre. If any kids are interested in playing ball this season, they should register on these two days. All ages of boys and girls are welcome.

There is a Family Day Funspiel on Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Erskine Curling Rink. Bring the family out to curl or take part in games and other activities. For more information or to sign up for curling please phone Nichole Conrad at 403-506-5413.

Don’t forget the Valentine’s Dance Jam on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Erskine IOOF Hall. Come on out and enjoy the music, dancing or visiting. There is no age limit.

The Tail Creek Snowbirds will be having a Snowmobile Poker Rally on Saturday, Feb. 11. Registration is at the Rochon Sands Community Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Everyone should return by 5 p.m. For more information, please call Erick at 403-741-6174, Monte at 403-741-4001 or Keith at 403-747-2129.

Coming up for the Erskine School Friday, Feb. 3 is PD Day so there is no school; Friday, Feb. 10 is Jersey Day; Friday, Feb. 17 is PD Day again, so there’s no school; and Friday, Feb. 20 is Family Day so this will make a nice long weekend for the kids.

The seniors are still playing Crib on Wednesday afternoons in the Senior Centre at 1:30 p.m. Games’ night is on Thursday nights, and coffee is on Fridays at 10 a.m. with Canasta at 1 p.m. All are welcome to join in.
