The New Orleans Band students have returned and had an absolutely amazing time, with lifelong memories and experiences.

Our school wanted to help out with the Fort McMurray crisis and had a barbeque and car wash last Friday, May 13. It went until 7 p.m. at the school. We raised $3,153.30. The community was greatly involved.

Here are all the business and organizations that helped with this fundraiser: No Frills donated the burgers and buns, Sobeys donated more burgers and buns, Caroline's Homespun Seasons donated supplies for red ribbons, Will Brown's Automotive Buy and Sell donated car wash materials, Mac Leasing and Vending donated pop and chips, Stettler RCMP, Stettler Fire Dept., Party Maxx for balloons, Stettler Wildcat Football for use of the BBQ, Brad Epp and the Alliance Youth Group assistant car washers extraordinaire, FCSS Staff and Parent Council, Wm E. Hay Staff for condiments, and school art program for banners. Thank you to all students, staff, and community members who volunteered.
