The Botha Community Centre held their annual meeting on Feb. 22 and a new board was formed.
Lorraine Hankins is now president, Brenda Brinson is treasurer and Hazel Davidson is secretary. If you have any questions about the hall, arena or ball diamonds be sure to give Marsha a call at 403 742 2559.
You need to mark 2 p.m. March 14 on your calender as well, as once again there will be the Talent Showcase at the Botha Hall. As always there are all forms of talent being displayed and performed, for more information or to register please call Brenda at 403-742-8457.Remember if you’re too shy to display your talent, or showcase it on stage, you’re still welcome to attend.
The Botha Senior Centre continues with carpet bowling Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., floor curling is now only at 7 p.m. there is no longer an after noon session, military whist on March 15 at 1:30 p.m., as well, they will be hosting bingo on March 16, the doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The Old Time Dance Club will be kickin’ it up Friday, March 13 at 8 p.m.
The Botha United church is now holding worship at 9 a.m.on Sundays rather than the previous time of 11 a.m.
