We raised $1596.07 for a fundraiser called Toonies for Terry. At 11 a.m. we started to run to West Stettler Park, after the amazing hot dogs, we kicked off Terry Fox Day by doing the activities planned by Mr. Nixon’s class. They did a great job planning it; everyone had lots of fun.

The Grade 8 students went on a trip to Red Deer on Oct. 8, in the snow. They went on a hike, to the Sports Hall of Fame, horseback riding, swimming, the field house and cycling. At the end of the day, they all gathered around a fire at the Rotary Park and ate hot dogs, in the snow.

The magazine sales ended on Oct. 13, the top seller was Scott Moxham with 27 subscriptions. Following him was Dylan Montpellier with 25 subscriptions and Allison Fleck with 21.The top selling class was 6B with 114 subscriptions. They won a pizza party. Congratulations to all. Thank you to all who bought the magazines.

We really appreciated the nice warm bus ride home.

The Grade 7 went on a trip for a section in Science called Planet Earth. They went to Drumheller to go on a hike through the badlands, a tour through the Tyrell Museum and they also saw the hoodoos. They went on Oct. 20 and 22. More on that next month.
