Locals entered in Stampede

Our condolences are sent out to Ruth Marshall and her family on the passing of her husband Dewey who was a long time resident of Nevis and an active member and volunteer in the community. The funeral was held in the Stettler Community center on Monday Aug 10.

The locals have entered the Stettler Rodeo this coming weekend. Erskine residents who entered are Guy and Mark Neitz in tie down roping and Joanne Poole in the ladies barrel racing. It should be a good rodeo since Stettler hasn’t hosted a rodeo in many years, they have gone all out in making sure this one has a lot of entertainment and fun.

Birthday wishes goes out to Kelsey Heintz Aug 12, Adam Standage Aug 13, Bernie Jackson Aug 13, Miranda Bauman Aug 14, Sheldon Chick Aug 14.
