There is nothing to hold you back, so come on in, get a membership and explore the world outside your window.

Have you always wanted to start your own business but you don’t know where to start? You have the idea but you don’t know what to do from there? The Stettler Regional Board of Trade is pleased to present “Ask the Expert: Entrepreneur Edition” at the Stettler Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. Sherry Lynn Twa from Community Futures East Parkland will be here to discuss planning, strategy, and entrepreneurship and how a solid business plan can help you and your business in the long term. Put Friday, Jan. 27 on your calendar because we need your help. Stettler is in competition with other libraries throughout the region, the province, and the country and we want to win! It is easy to participate: all you have to do is read for 15 minutes, contact us at the library via phone, Facebook, Twitter, e-mail (spl@prl.ab.ca), website or just come in. Read for 15 and let’s bring the Reading Smackdown 2017 title to Stettler.

I love trivia. I mean I love trivia! Join us on Friday, Jan. 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for Family Trivia Night. There will be trivia for all ages with pizza, popcorn, and a tonne of fun! Everyone is welcome to join us.

Keep checking spl.prl.ab.ca or our Facebook page for news of any additional activities as some may require pre-registration! If you have any ideas, suggestions, or questions about activities you want to see at the library, let us know. We hope to see you at the library soon.
