If you find good books and great food irresistible, you’ll want to join our newest book club, Novel Bites Supper Club.

Each month, we’ll sample a different local restaurant and enjoy lively discussions of a popular book. Our debut meeting will be held on April 16 at 6:30 p.m. at East to West (4826-50 St, Stettler).

Stop by the library to sign up for Novel Bites and pick up a copy of April’s selection, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter by New York Times bestselling author Hazel Gaynor. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own refreshments.

Find your next good read at the Friends of the Library’s Spring Book Sale taking place during the Stettler Trade Show (April 11, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and April 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Donations of books and movies have been pouring in for the past month, so the selection will be vast at bargain prices –whatever you’d like to offer.

Proceeds go toward library programs. Also, come and check out our booth at the Trade Show this weekend.

Drop by and chat up one of our staff or board members, let us know how we are doing and see what the library has coming up.

While you’re with us, test out our Virtual Reality equipment for an amazing experience. Don’t forget to fill out our yearly survey for a chance to win an incredible gift basket perfect for book lovers.
