If a night at the movies appeals to you, why not plan to attend next month’s special Film Circuit presentation featuring an award-winning Alberta film shot in and around Central Alberta? The Ties That Bind, directed and produced by Delburne-based James Reckseidler explores the ways that in family, all debts collect interest.
The movie will screen on May 9 at 7 p.m. at the Stettler Performing Arts Centre with an Q &A session with James and members of the cast and crew. Early Bird tickets are available at the library for $10. Tickets at the door are $15.

There is always something amazing and creative to be done at Something Cool After School on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m. Explore electricity and circuits on April 24 and then come back on April 29 when we’ll weave colourful straw bracelets and bookmarks.
We are sure that you will be back on May 1 to learn simple techniques for creating beautiful watercolours. Ages 6 and up.
