Make a date to attend next month’s Film Circuit at the Library on June 5 at 6:30 p.m., when we’ll be showing Sing Sing, the unforgettable story of a man imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit who finds purpose staging an original comedy with other incarcerated men. Admission is free, though donations are gratefully accepted. The popcorn is hot and free, and drinks ($1 each) will be cold.

Register at the library, and then we’ll meet at The Royal Hotel/New Horizons on June 11 at 6:30 p.m. for a fun, literary night out with other booklovers while we enjoy a great meal together. Refreshments and meals are the responsibility of the attendees.

Colour can be found everywhere at Something Cool After School on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 p.m.
Catch the summer sunlight with beautiful stained-glass art you’ll make on May 29. I think of red when you talk about apples, and we’ll have a fun, no-fry, fruity feast when we make apple donuts on June 3.

Registration for the Summer Reading Club opens on June 2. Tiny Travellers and Globetrotters are getting a chance to travel the world with the Stettler Public Library this summer for free! Plus, there are incredible prizes up for grabs that all your reading minutes give you opportunities to win.
Parents of little ones (birth-5 yrs) can bring them to Read & Rhyme for a great dose of books, songs, and playtime on each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 10:30.

Days of sunshine will be even better when you refract some of those rays with a colourful suncatcher you’ll make at Teen Scene on June 4 at 4:30 p.m. Ages 10 and up.
Meet up with other fantasy game enthusiasts for a night of adventure and storytelling at Dungeons & Dragons on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Come for the fun, stay for the snacks. Ages 13 and up.
Adults:
Mark your Bingo card, win fun prizes when you plug into Afternoon Friends on June 3, 1-3 p.m. We welcome newcomers and always have a relaxing good time.
Make a meaningful keepsake while keeping memories alive by tracing a handwritten recipe onto a tea towel to preserve it for the next generation at Crystal’s Crafting Club on June 5 at 6:30 p.m. Please pre-register by contacting the library.
For those noticing cognitive decline in themselves or someone close, Minds in Motion can help. This program, developed by the Alzheimer's Society, is held on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. and offers mild exercise and light and enjoyable games in a low-stress social environment. Caregivers can attend, too.
If someone close to you drinks to excess, let the understanding folks at Al-Anon help and support you. Meetings are held Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. and all discussions are confidential.
Relax in a comfy chair with yarn and a hook and come away with progress on your project. Needleworkers of all kinds are welcome at Crystal’s Crochet Club on May 31 at 1 p.m. Come join us!
