While you’re stocking up your pantry for the holidays, make sure you supply yourself and your family with plenty of books and movies.

We have a large selection of audiobooks for your Christmas vacation road trip, or we can help you sign up for Libby or cloudLibrary, our free ebook/audiobook apps.

And how about browsing our games and puzzles shelf? We have classics like Risk and Yahtzee, or more unique games like Stettleropoly and Exploding Kittens.

You can even choose from our collection of jigsaw puzzles for all levels of skill including some that are Christmas-themed. For children, we have fun toys and equipment in our toy lending library, perfect for your young out-of-town guests.

And just for fun, why not ask for your checkout receipt? You’ll be able to see how much money you’ve saved this year by making use of the library. If you don’t have a library card, you are missing out. Memberships are free if you live in the town or county of Stettler and offer you value beyond words.

The library will be closing on Christmas Eve at 1 p.m. Plan your day to make sure you have reading material because we will also be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day. We will reopen at 10 a.m. on December 27. Also, mark on your calendars that the library will be closing at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31 and will reopen on Jan 2 at 10 a.m.
