Fridays are jam-packed with fun at the Stettler Public Library.
That’s why we are calling every Friday this summer Fun Friday!
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) reveal the wonders of the amazing world we enjoy and summer is the perfect time to spend time outdoors experiencing those marvels.
Bring the whole family this Friday, July 26 at 2 p.m. for an awesome scavenger hunt (also known as geocaching) as we search out and discover local geocaches. Then join us as we make more discoveries through the STEM activities we’ve got planned involving microscopes, Snap Circuits, and littleBits. Not only that, but we’ll offer some special treats, too.
Next week’s Fun Friday starts with a morning movie – Over the Hedge — at 10:30 a.m. complete with popcorn and snacks. Then be sure to return with the whole family at 1 p.m. when you’ll create a masterpiece painting on canvas with Crystal’s gentle step-by-step guidance. Call soon to reserve a space.

While away the summer heat in the air-conditioned comfort of the library by bringing your little ones (0-5 yrs) to Read & Rhyme on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday at 10:30 a.m. Ask the staff about 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten. For every 100 books read, we’ll reward you with a prize until your child reaches 1,000.
