After a warm and refreshing long weekend, I’m sure everyone is ready to get back down to the library for some wicked fun activities. Did you know library cards are free for the residents of Town and County of Stettler? Come get yours today. Not only does your library card give you access to a large selection of awesome books and films, you can also borrow a one-week family pass to the Stettler Recreation Centre.

Miss one of our events? No worries. With our ongoing programs you can drop in whenever works for you. A couple of our ongoing programs include, a weekly Pokemon Swap Meet from 4:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. every Thursday, and ‘Gamerz’ for those PC Gaming lovers out there, all ages welcome every Tuesday and Thursday at 4 p.m.

With the last month of school quickly approaching, final assignments and exams will also be coming up soon. Want to boost those final grades? Why not try Tutoring at the Stettler Public Library on Mondays from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and Tuesdays from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a certified educator.

Not sure what to give your dad for Father’s Day, but want to show him how much you love him? Come on down to the library on June 2 at 10:30 a.m. and make a cool card for your cool dad. Due to minimal supervision, children must be eight and up to participate.

Still need a little something special to add to your Father’s Day gift? June 16 at 12:30 p.m., kids ages six and up are welcome to join us for a Father’s Day craft- super cool keychains, with two different styles available!

Let’s do some crafts, play some games, eat some snacks, and watch some movies. Sound fun to you? We think so too. Join us at the Steel Wheel Stampede in the Agriplex on June 8 from 3 – 8 p.m. and June 9 from noon - 7 p.m. to do all these things. This year the movies we’ll be showing are The Nut Job on Friday at 5 p.m. and Ferdinand the Bull on Saturday at 4 p.m.
