WILDCATS' CORNER -- The high school play this year was called "Almost, Maine." It is a play about falling in love and falling out of love. The play happened from Thursday to Saturday, Dec. 1-3. On Friday, Dec. 2 it was a dinner theater. The play was very well received by all. During the play "Be The Change" had a silent auction. It will also run on the "Night of the Bands" with the proceeds going towards Heartland Victim Services. The annual "Night of the Bands" will be on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.
Be the Change and the School Culture Group is doing a tree decorating campaign where every student will be writing compliments or words of praise onto an ornament. The tree will be up all December. SADD is doing their annual liquor bag campaign to discourage drinking and driving during the holiday season. GSA is doing a clothing drive for the month of December. Please be sure to bring your used clothes to the school. The Fellowship of Christian Students is having a bake sale every Thursday to fundraise for their trip to Guatemala next July. They are also having a "Ladies' Christmas Luncheon and Tea" on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Stettler Alliance Church.
The Students' Union will be hosting "Ugly Sweater Day" on Friday, Dec. 16, and will be organizing Christmas fun day activities on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
