Join us for the fun-filled weekend in Erskine

Erskine’s Annual Sports day is this Saturday, June 19. The day starts off with the parade at noon with line up at 11:30 a.m. at the school. Following the parade the Erskine Evangelical Free Church is hosting their annual good neighbor barbecue.

The rec board was able to bring in the Hot Diggity Dog agility performance and the show is at 2 p.m. in the school yard. Anyone interested in road hockey? Bring your sticks and gear and meet at the school for some fun road hockey at 3 p.m.

Other games for kids of all ages will be taking place at the school at 3 p.m. Ball games start at 3 p.m. and go till 5 p.m. Then the rec board evening barbecue will be at the IOOF Hall this year starting at 5:30 p.m. This should be another fun-filled day.

Father’s Day is June 20 and the IOOF is sponsoring the Annual Father’s Day Breakfast at the IOOF hall Sunday morning from 9 till 11 a.m. Bring in Dad and Grandpa and sit and have a nice meal and good visit with all the neighbors.

Erskine United Church service for Sunday June 20 is at 10 a.m. and on June 27 at 11 a.m. Following the June 27 service a Barbecue dinner will be served.

The Erskine Junior High traveled on down to Camp Gardner last week for 3 fun filled days. They got rain, but everyone was prepared and still had a great time.

Grade Nine farewell this year is on June 22 to help celebrate the past 10 years at Erskine school and send them best wishes on to High School next fall.

Last day of school June 25, parent council will be hosting a picnic in the park for all students with Barbecued hot dogs and treats.
