Erskine school held their Remembrance Day service on Nov. 5. The Legion attended bringing with them a World War II and Korean War veteran who read to the students. The students had prepared songs, poems and stories to recite for the service. A Powerpoint presentation started out the service put together by Austin Marlow in remembrance of our soldiers. The whole service had a reverence about it, that helped instill a remembrance and thanks to all soldiers past and present.

I’d like to give thanks to all those who have fought for freedom, those who gave their lives for freedom, and those who still work and fight to help keep our country free.
