It’s hard to believe it’s May. Campsites reopen on the Victoria Day long weekend but with the weather we have had, and snow still on the ground in some areas, who knows when campsites will reopen.
Mother’s Day is May 13. There will be a Mother’s Day breakfast on that day at the Botha Hall from 8:30 a.m. to about 11:30 a.m. and it’s free for all mothers. So why not start your Mother’s Day off right with your mom and head over to the hall for a great breakfast.
May 4 is Joshua Morris’ birthday. Have a fantastic birthday Joshua with lots of fun.
May’s dance will be held on April 27 with the Country Gems band entertaining the group that afternoon. The theme for this dance is spring so wear something accordingly if you like. Everyone is welcome.
The monthly senior meeting is on May 7 starting at noon with a potluck. Please bring something to share. The meeting is right afterwards. Hopefully all seniors can attend these important meetings.
Bingo is on May 9 starting at 7 p.m. Come on out and try your luck.
As we all know, the Grade 12’s will graduate this month on May 26. We congratulate you all and wish you all the very best of everything in the future. There will be a Safe Grad at the Botha Arena for the evening to help celebrate all Grade 12 achievements.
May 1 is the school board visit. The kindergarten to Grade 4’s will attend the Erskine School for the Robert Munsch Show, which sounds exciting.
The Jump for Heart fundraiser is on May 16. You can sponsor a child in this great cause.
