Congratulations to Eleanor Schultz, who celebrated her 75th birthday with a gathering of family at her home last weekend. On Monday, Feb. 7, (her actual birth date) her floor curling friends wished her well with a cake and coffee party after their regular floor curling at the Endiang Hall. Best wishes to Eleanor for many more.

Congratulations to Chelsea Walker and Alan Pero on the birth of their son Bentley Robert Alan Pero on Feb. 7. The young lad weighed 8 lbs. and 4 oz. Proud local grandparents are Clint and Tammy Walker and great grandma is Evelyn Walker.

Jim and Maureen Wasdal left the cold behind with a trip to Arizona. They were accompanied by Doug and Jean Lamson and met up with Maureen’s sister Sue and Len Armstrong there.

Volunteers of the Sullivan Lake West Ag. Society worked at the Jackpot Casino in Red Deer on Tuesday and Wednesday. Your local correspondent was among them and heard lots of interesting stories, unfortunately none to print.

Congratulations to Mickey (nee Campbell) Pearn of Stettler, who recently celebrated her 85th birthday. We wish you many more Mickey.

Friends of Allan Irion will be interested to know he has returned to Alberta from B.C. and is now living in Red Deer.

The Endmoor floor curlers are hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Funspiel at the Endiang Hall on March 17. Those interested in entering are asked to contact Ken Schultz at 403-579-2344 or Shirley Bates at 403-364-2192 before Mar. 13.
