Information day was a fun evening

BYEMOOR 4-H BEEF NEWS — The Byemoor 4-H Beef Club had their information day on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Byemoor arena. It was a fun and informative evening where we learned to make out manifests, give injections, tags and halter ties. We got to practice our knowledge on Martha, the cardboard cow. We also got to use our new skills in a fun relay race. We finished by having a meeting and sharing a nice meal.

Our members are collecting batteries for our battery drive. We are looking forward to district ski day on Sunday, Jan. 29. We are getting ready for our club’s public speaking day. On Saturday, Feb. 11 we are going to a Red Deer Rebels game and the trampoline park for our club Christmas party.

I would like to thank everyone who bought Christmas trees at Santa Claus Day in Byemoor in December.
