Is it just me or are you having trouble getting in the Christmas spirit?
Even though I love the time Christmas gives me with family and friends, this year it seems to be a little harder to get that spirit of Christmas, with only eight days left until the big day I’m hoping to find it soon.
Maybe the Botha school Christmas concert tonight at the Botha hall starting at 7 p.m. will help me.
The Botha Seniors’ Centre continues with carpet bowling Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., floor curling is Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., there will be no military whist until January, as well they will be hosting Bingo on Dec. 22 with the doors open at 6:30 p.m.
The Old-Time Dance Club is kickin’ up their heels Dec. 27, this is a Sunday afternoon dance that is followed by supper, ladies please bring salad or dessert.
The Botha United Church continues to hold worship at 11 a.m. on Sundays.
There will be a Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. and no service on December 27. There will be a New Year’s Eve dance at the Botha Hall this year, so be sure to mark it on your calender.
