Although Halkirk doesn’t have enough young people to field a hockey team, we still have lots of players to watch and cheer on, which keeps the parents and grandparents busy. Players this year with Castor teams (parents and/or grandparents in brackets) are: Brody and Brandyn Baird (TJ and Kendra): Devon Johnson (JD and Sandra): Trey and Taygen MacGillivray (Layne and Lorena): Morgan Jordal and Cade James ( Doan and Sherri): Jake and Benson Van Heinen (Phil and Jane): Amie Rowland (Sonny and Margret): Landon Slemp (Dave and Linda): Garrett and Colby Compton (Stan and Dorothy).
JD Johnson, TJ Baird and Aaron Compton are sharing coaching duties. Playing with Stettler teams are: Elliott Mabbott (Darcy and Andrea): Axel Bergstrom (Doug and Virginia): Brandon Kent (Dale and Melody): Tanner Duncan (Murray and Linda) and Geri Slemp (Dave and Linda). Troy Slemp also coaches.
