After all that work why not take a break, visit the village come into the Drop In Center to enjoy a piece of homemade pie, a cold drink, tea, or coffee. Maybe stop for a lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches offered on Saturday and Sunday. Sit a spell and visit with the knowledgeable volunteers. Maybe you would like to play a game of pool or shuffleboard it is available. Hours are 12 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Welcome!!

Dates to remember: The Donalda Ag Society will be hosting a 3-day Horse Camp, in August. REQUIREMENTS: 8 years old or older, don’t have access to a horse and riding. Bring a lunch and have fun learning horsemanship. Call Julie at 403-883-2264 for more information. HAPPY TRAILS!!!!

The 30th Annual Bench Fair will be held on August 13th in the Community Hall. Exhibits will open at 8 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. A Pancake Breakfast will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will also be a craft market happening in the basement of the hall. On August 14 and 21, ABRA JACKPOTS start. This event will be from at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on this event, call Barb Bosh at 403-883-2691.

Volunteers are needed for a work bee at the arena and campgrounds to do some up keeping. Call Ray at 403-883-2230.

Drive In Movie in the Coulee is happening again on August 27 at dusk at the Ski Chalet. What a wonderful way to spend a hot summer night enjoying “THE GREAT OUTDOORS”. There will be a concession open for your snack needs.
