The Grade 8 journalism class recently visited the Heart Haven Lodge to learn about some of the many residents who live there. When they visited the first time, students interviewed a few residents to learn about their life story, and then on the second visit, the students brought gifts for the residents as well as a booklet of biographies of everyone who was interviewed.
As well, the Stettler Middle School has just had another successful year of candy gram sales.
These are holiday greeting cards classmates exchange.
The SMS sold 4173 candy grams and raised $931.61 to be donated to the hamper fund, which provides a Christmas dinner for those less fortunate.
Then the week at SMS ended with a Christmas dance where everyone had a blast.
