Halkirk discusses its future

Tony and Clara Nibourg along with their kids Jenna and Luke returned from a trip to Hawaii. With good weather they were able to do a lot of touring.

Scott and Matthew Koenraadt returned from a week’s vacation to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. With fair weather they were able to go to the Chichenitzen ruins.

Stan and Dorothy Anderson returned from a much needed rest in Las Vegas. Enjoying themselves, but not coming back with anymore then they left with.

The School held a skating party with a wiener roast on Wednesday. The weather was nice, so everyone had a good time.

Anne Nielson along with her floor curling team of Shirley Brodersen, Elizabeth Raher and Dora Morasch curled in Forestburg. While there they had a short visit with Anne Thibault.

The Elks lamp-hanging get together was held at Jacquie and Paul Dietrich’s last weekend.

Village of Halkirk hosted a town meeting last Monday night with 31 people in attendance. Under discussion was the future and what direction we would like to see our town going.
