The last day of school at the Stettler Middle School was a blast for all the students! There were lots of fun games to play. We had our very first Christmas Carol Idol with Paula Spady, Randy “Dawg” Lee, and Simon Garbutt. All classes were winners.
Next, we had a gym riot. The students were split up into their intramurals teams: fire, water, earth and wind. The Candygrams raised $640.84 for the Stettler Hamper Fund. There was also a dance after the gym riot.
The first ski day was on Jan. 13 and the skiers went to Canyon Ski Hill in Red Deer. The hill was a little icy, but it was a great day on the runs. The students who did not attend the ski trip stayed at the school and had an activity day. The kids enjoyed their activity day with bowling, skating, gym games, swimming, and rock band.
The end of semester one is Jan. 27. We then start our new options. Report cards come out on Feb. 5. Have a great month.
