There was the CWAJHAA cross-country on Oct. 8. As expected, we all did our best and as a result, we got the CWAJHAA “JJ” banner up on the wall in the gym. Great job, Stettler Middle School!

Later, we had our annual turkey trot on Oct. 9. The fastest to finish the run were: Nick Baharally, Brandon Howarth, Todd Stanling, Corey Garbutt, Dacia Gramlick, and Tyra Ganser. The people who finished the run with their closest estimated time were: Alisha Coules, Grace Chapman, Ashley Wingie, Scott Moxham, Chase Rosland, and Brendan Pederson. Great job.

On Oct. 27, the Grade 6 students performed a play called The Beast Things in Life. They did a fantastic job at entertaining the audience. It was great.

The report cards were sent out on Nov. 9, and on Nov. 12, there were parent teacher interviews.

The Remembrance Day service was on Nov. 10. We had the honor of listening to one of the veterans. The band also did a terrific job.

The Grade 6s went to Calgary on Nov. 18 to enjoy live theater. The show was “The Christmas Carol”, which they are reading in class.

Nov. 27 is a day off, because of a parent/teacher interviews. Have fun on your day off.

On Dec.11, 14, and 16, we are going to be doing the candy grams. They are 25 cents each, so make sure you get one for your friends. The money is then donated to the Stettler Hamper Fund.
