Get set for Byemoor Bull-a-rama action!

Be sure to take in the bull bustin’ action of the Byemoor Bull-a-rama at the Byemoor Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21. After the Bull-a-rama you can dance the night away at the Cabaret.

The Church at Endiang held its Palm Sunday Service on April 2 at the Endiang Community Hall. The next service will be held on April 16 with all welcome.

The next and final Sunday Morning Coffee Time at the Endiang Community Hall will be on Sunday, April 23 at 10 a.m. and everyone is welcome to join in.

Don’t forget the Kid’s Easter Party at the Scapa Hall on Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m. There will be crafts and an Easter Egg hunt. Just bring your child’s favourite snack. Call Scott Viste at 403-854-2124 to let organizers know how many children to expect so there are goodies for all.

Just a reminder Summer Hours begin at the Byemoor Landfill Transfer Station begin after Easter. Starting on Wed, April 12 the hours will run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. until Thanksgiving on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Local fans of the Stettler-based country music band Renegade Station were happy to hear the group won Single of the Year for Every Now and Then at the 12th annual Country Music Alberta Awards held at Calgary on the weekend. Congratulations to band members Kent Nixon, Russ and Luanne Carl and Scott McKnight on their spectacular achievement.

Members of the Byemoor 4-H Beef Club participated in the Rising Stars Junior Steer and Heifer Show held in Stettler on the weekend at the Agriplex. It also provided a valuable educational opportunity provided by the Stierwalt Cattle Clinic with instructor Kirk Stierwalt of Oklahoma.

We wish everyone a blessed Easter with the most beautiful gift of all – family, faith and friendship and may it be topped off with sunshine and warm spring weather.
