Fundraising ride to visit Donalda for the last time

The Donalda Art Gallery will be holding an opening reception of their new exhibition featuring the Lorne Todd family’s works.

DONALDA DIARY -- The Donalda Art Gallery will be holding an opening reception of their new exhibition featuring the Lorne Todd family’s works ranging from acrylic paintings to metal artworks. The opening reception will be held on Friday, July 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the gallery. This exhibition runs from July 22 to Sunday, August 14 and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Coming to Donalda on Friday, August 26 is Wild Pink Yonder, which is a breast cancer fund-raising organization which organizes a 23-day town/trail ride during August. All funds are raised to go to the Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta. This is the eighth and final year of the rides and Donalda is fortunate enough to be one of the towns/villages that is taking part. The Donalda & District Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all summer and is selling ice cream. Come out and enjoy a day in Donalda.
