BOTHA BOOSTER -- Today is an exciting day for Lorraine and John Hankins as they celebrate their wedding anniversary. If you see them at all, wish them happy anniversary, and hopefully both of you have a fantastic day.
The last seniors' monthly meeting until fall will be held this coming Monday starting at 12 noon, with a potluck luncheon with the meeting to follow immediately after. So please bring one of your favorite dishes with you and join in the meeting. Hoping all seniors can attend.
Bingo evening takes place the evening of Wednesday, June 8 starting at 7:15 p.m., doors open at 6:30. Come on down and have some fun. Bingo will continue every second Wednesday throughout the summer, so don't miss this excitement
Quilting takes place Monday, June 13, starting at 9:30 p.m. at the seniors' centre. So come join this group and finish off your projects you started this passed year.
The final Old-Thyme Dance Club will be holding their last dance until fall on Sunday June 26, with the "Country Gentleman Band"entertaining the crowd that afternoon.These dances start at 1:30 p.m., and held at the Botha Hall. Hopefully everyone can attend.
Floor curling is every Wednesday and Thursday afternoons starting at 1 p.m, so come join in the fun. These too will be closing down soon for the summer months, so please ask a member of the club for details.
Coffee is always ready and served hot every Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m., and they will continue, too, through the summer months. So please take a break away from your busy schedules and join your friends every Wednesday morning for this at the seniors' centre.
With this being June now and Botha School students and staff are having a real busy month finishing all their school work off for this year, exams, track meetings, swimming etc. before this 2015/2106 school year comes to a end. But as we all know, students and staff are all looking forward to the big day, when they all finish until the 2016/2017 school year starts again.
Unfortunately, all the Grade 12 grads had very miserable weather this weekend for their safe grad but hopefully everyone had fun.Congratulations however to all the Grade 12's that graduated, and the best of everything wherever life leads you to in the future.
