A come-and-go bridal shower was held on Wednesday evening, Sept. 1, at the hall to honor Erin Kuefler, bride elect of Kurt Chick.

Assisting the bride were bridesmaids Miranda Sheppard and Chireen Shipton as well as Erin’s mom, Carrie and Kurt’s mom, Linda. 25 plus ladies enjoyed the lunch and visiting in a casual atmosphere.

Lowell and Janette Berry spent last weekend camping at Gull Lake with Grant and Darlene and Brenda and Murray.

Walley and Linda Lehmann returned from spending time in Kaslo B.C. visiting with friends.

They experienced great weather and had the opportunity to see a large bear swimming across Kootenay Lake. Then the bear later tore through a tent looking for dog food that the campers had left in the tent. They also noted that gas was $1.08 in B.C.

September 12 is officially grandparents day – so give someone who loves you a call.

Bingo will start in the hall on Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m., everyone welcome.
