Erskine Market to be held on Nov. 10

ERSKINE ENQUIRER -- I hope some of the farmers got combining done, but I know of a few who still have crops yet to be worked upon.

ERSKINE ENQUIRER — I hope some of the farmers got combining done, but I know of a few who still have crops yet to be worked upon. Good luck. Let’s hope for a dry and sunny November.

Coming up on Sunday, Nov. 13, is the Seniors Dance Jam. Come on out and enjoy the music, dancing, visiting and lunch. Any age is welcome and anyone who wants to play their instrument is welcome to do so.

Ceramics is still taking place on Wednesday afternoons in the Waverly Club Rooms basement. If you want to make something for Christmas, as gifts for your friends and family, you are most welcome to attend. It begins at 1 p.m.

On Thursday, Nov. 10, there will be a market in the Waverly Club Rooms at 7 p.m. There will be a few ladies with their products, such as jewellery, Scentsy, Watkins, Avon, and much more. There will also be lots of ideal stocking stuffers as well as gifts.

Congratulations to all the students who won awards at the annual Erskine Awards Night. Well done!

There will be no school on Friday, Nov. 4, due to PD Day. Fall break is Nov. 9-10 and Remembrance Day is Nov. 11, so there will be a nice long weekend for both teachers and students. Operation Christmas Child will be underway now and the school newsletter will have all the details of how to pack the shoe boxes.

Erskine School raised a little more than $3,000 from the Terry Fox Run, which I thought was excellent.
