The Village of Erskine hosted their 17th annual “Floats and Flicks” event on Sept. 17.

Kicking things off at 4 p.m. a parade wound its way through town.

“It was the biggest parade in 17 years,” said Erskine Recreation Board member Andrea Lee.

In addition to the large parade, the barebecue sponsored by the E-Free Church and United Church hosted over 400 people. The barbecue featured a bounce house for the kids, and Stettler’s block-party trailer was also on site.

“It was awesome this year,” said Lee.

At dusk, there was a fireworks display before the showing of a drive-in film.

The film shown was 2022 release Paws of Fury:The Legend of Hank.
