I’m hoping everyone had a great long weekend and an excellent Easter with lots of memorable events.
Just a reminder for the Botha meeting at 12 noon on May 2 at the Botha Seniors’ Centre: It’s a potluck meeting so please bring something to share with you. The meeting to follow after the meal. All seniors please attend.
Get your AbraraDazzle tickets quickly for a great magic show and see what teacher will be going up on stage to see some magic tricks done to them. The AbraraDazzle tickets are on sale now at the Pages of Time store, Q 14 radio station or any BCC member, or at the door. This event will be taking place on Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Botha Hall. So get your tickets fast and come out and take in a great show.
Bring out your mother on Sunday May 8 to the Botha Hall on her special day, and give her a break from the kitchen. Breakfast at the hall will be served between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. So come on out for a great meal with very reasonable prices. Hope to see you there.
Then on May 10, come out at 7:15 p.m. for a great game of Bingo. These are held at the Botha Seniors’ Centre every second Tuesday evening. So come on out and join your Bingo buddies.
On Friday, May 13, come on out to the Botha Hall at 8 p.m. to take in the music from the Gaetz Valley Band. This is also a potluck, so please bring something with you to share. Come out for a great evening and kick your heels up with the old time dance club and listen to the music from a great band.
On Monday, May 9, come out and join the quilting club at Botha Seniors’ Centre every second and last Monday of each month, for a great time. So bring your quilting with you and come out and visit your neighbors.
We would like to thank the Erskine United Church Choir for coming to the Botha United Church on Good Friday with their special music. It was a great evening.
