Endiang Floor Curling Club participates in Stettler floor curling tourney

Teams enjoy Stettler hospitality

Results of the crib meets at the Endmoor Drop-In Centre the past few weeks included: April 12 — 1. Doreen Nixon, 2. Debbie Goeson and April 19 — 1. Geri Wesa, 2. Deanna Johnson. Crib will wrap-up for the winter season with the last meet on April 26 and will resume again in October.

Get well wishes are sent to Eric Smith, who was an operative patient in a Calgary hospital. Hope you are on the mend, Eric.

Endiang Floor Curling Club sent two teams to the bonspiel at The Hub in Stettler on April 17. Doug Harrold, Brad Stiles, Ken and Eleanor Schultz were on one team while Ernie Angel, Dave Sisley, Mickey Tucker and Luann Buchwitz played on the other. All enjoyed the day and the Stettler hospitality.

Floor curling in Endiang wraps up for the season on April 30.

A number of local folks took in the Stettler Trade Show on April 13-15. Byemoor’s Ryan Yates was the lucky winner of one of the trade show door prizes, a 40-inch. Congratulations, Ryan.

Spring has finally arrived in our part of the world and is much welcomed. The abundant snow banks are quickly disappearing and creating a amount of spring run-off. In many instances the road culverts cannot handle the large volume of water.

Mark your calendars for the Mother’s Day pancake breakfast on May 13 at the Endiang Community Hall. Breakfast is served from 9 a.m. – noon.
