BYEMOOR/ENDIANG NEWS -- Byemoor School has four new little faces in Grade 1. The beginners are Ava Gallagher, Memphis Jones, Alerie Sorensen and Joslyn Stimson.

The annual Terry Fox Run hosted by the Byemoor School will happen on Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join in and lunch will be served to all participants. Pledge forms are available at the school. The students always appreciate your support for this worthwhile effort — contact any student to pledge.

Keep in mind; students of the Byemoor School are collecting pop bottle caps for an art project.

Congratulations to Josh and Jamie Harden on the birth of their daughter, Sadie Robin Harden, on Aug. 31. Sadie weighed six pounds seven ounces and is a little sister for twin brothers Tyke and Hunter. The Hardens live on the former Helm place.

Congratulations are also in order for Dustin and Erin (Grams) Weinzierl on the birth of their second son, Jamison Xavier Weinzierl, on Sept. 1 at the Stettler hospital. Jamison weighed in at seven pounds and has a big brother, Jake.

Congratulations also to the local grandparents Rod and Debbie Grams and great-grandparents Jack and Vi Grams and Norm Kelly.

We welcome to the community Jennifer McCrindle and David Normore and their boys Lukas and Erik. The family has moved from Edmonton to the former farm home of Joe and Beth Knowles, west of Byemoor. Lukas is a Grade 2 student at the Byemoor School.

We send happy 80th birthday wishes to Mickey Tucker, who will be celebrating this special milestone on Sept. 10. Best wishes for many more happy birthdays, Mickey.

Mark your calendars for a bridal shower for Lacey Gutsche, bride-to-be of Ashton Halabut, on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 1-4 p.m. at the Hanna Lions Hall.

Happy 65th birthday wishes are sent to Skip Mappin on Sept. 12. We hope you enjoy those government cheques, Skip.
