The Donalda Art Gallery will be hosting Woody's Watercolor as its final exhibition this summer. Mr. Woodrow McGibbon was born in South Africa, and is a watercolor artist who enjoys painting birds, as well as rural scenes. This exhibition will run from Aug. 19 to Sept. 9. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Donalda Art Gallery will be open daily this summer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Wild Pink Yonder is coming to Donalda Friday, Aug. 26. Wild Pink Yonder is a breast cancer research fundraising organization which organizes a 23 day/town/village trail ride during August. All funds raised go to the Cancer Research Institute of Northern Alberta. This year is the eighth and final year of the rides and Donalda is lucky enough to be one of the villages taking part. There will be two ride times, the first is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the other at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be a "Pink-Nic" dinner on Main Street hosted by Teresa's Catering from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

To finish off the day there will be a drive-in movie featuring 'Cat Ballou' with gates opening at 7 p.m. and the movie beginning at dusk, with a full concession available. For more information check out their website: Wild Pink Yonder.
