Don't forget to vote in the plebiscite

A great Father’s Day Breakfast was put on by the IOOF for the many who came out for it.

ERSKINE ENQUIRER -- A great Father’s Day Breakfast was put on by the IOOF for the many who came out for it. Thanks to all the hard workers and also to those who supported them.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Dee Ness on Sunday, June 26 at the Erskine Cemetery at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a lunch and refreshments at the IOOF Hall in Erskine. Everyone is welcome to come and have this time together and share memories of Dee.

There will be a bridal shower for Dana Hudson, bride-to-be of Danny Riggins, at the Union Hall on Thursday, June 23 at 7 p.m.

Don’t forget to come out and vote on Monday, June 27th at the IOOF Hall on whether or not you are in favor of county council passing a bylaw to borrow money for the new Public Works Shop Facility. The hours are between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. An advance vote will take place on Thursday, June 23 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Heritage Room at the Stettler Ag Society.

It won’t be long and school will be out for the summer. Parents are invited to a picnic in the park on Tuesday, June 28 at 12:45 before the school wide assembly. The parent council is supplying lunch for the students and guests. Parents are also invited to the assembly. This is also the last day of school.

The Flea Market takes place on the weekends in Erskine beside the Erskine Grill. Come on out and have a browse.
