ERSKINE ENQUIRER -- Thirty-six teams participated in the Erskine Men’s Bonspiel last week. Friday night was particularly busy with “Wing Night” and the beef banquet. Winner of the A event final was Greg Thompson over Danny Brown. Danny MacArthur beat Cal Nixon in the B event, Jim Whitehouse beat Scott Kruk Trucking in the C Event and the D event was won by Kent Armstrong over Lyle Bignell. Congratulations, winners!
The Erskine United Church will be having their annual spring supper with entertainment to follow on Sunday, April 17. Tickets are available at the Erskine Post Office and from UCW members.
Erskine Seniors’ Dance Jam will be held on Sunday, April 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. There were 15 jammers playing at the last jam and the music was awesome.
There will be a scrapbooking retreat on April 22, 23 and 24 at the IOOF Hall beginning at 7 p.m. on the Friday night. Please phone 403-742-0604 or 403-742-0602 if you wish to register for this. Accommodation may be provided and there is always room for campers.
