ERSKINE ENQUIRER -- The Erskine Recreation Board is still looking for volunteers to work at their casino beginning June 14. If you can help, please phone Sherry Marshall at 742-0602 or Tracy Volker at 742-2463. The casinos help to pay for the upkeep of the playgrounds, ball diamonds, skating rink and the club rooms.
There will be a bridal shower for Dana Hudson, bride-elect of Danny Riggins, at the Ramada Inn on Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m.
There will also be a bridal shower for Felicity Weymer, bride-elect of Jesse Bauman, at the Erskine Seniors’ Center on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m.
Coming up on Father’s Day, June 19 is the pancake breakfast at the IOOF Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds go towards building renovations.
June 29 is the last seniors’ crib playing for the summer. There will be a dinner at the Erskine Seniors’ Centre on that day and the quilting club, knitting club and crib players and all seniors are invited. There is no charge.
