When you mention distance education, most people think formal education for a one-to-two-year certificate or diploma, but the ed2go program offers single, stand alone courses.

No matter where you live or what your interests might be, the ed2go program offers hundreds of courses on your home computer.

You can take all of the courses from the comfort of your home or office at the times that are most convenient to you. Courses cost $120 and consist of two lessons per week over a six week period. Courses are offered by various instructors and their bios are available for viewing. You may tackle the lessons anytime and there is access to on-line help. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion. Courses are offered continuously so you can select the start date that works best for you.

Whether you are interested in accounting, creative writing, computer programs of various levels, parenting, business, or developing personal skills and interests, ed2go has them all. Courses are arranged under four topic headings: career and professional, personal development, computers and technology, and writing and publishing.
