Chase played smart all season and had a critical win when it was needed to earn CWAJHAA bronze. There is a signup sheet for tennis at the office if your child is interested in playing.

A lockable scooter rack is now available outside the main entrance between the main entrance and the PAC. Bring your own padlock and you can lock up your scooter for safety.

The Theater Arts students have been working on their One Act plays which they will be presenting in June. The Fine Arts Boards 3 annual Gala will be on Thursday, June 8. It will be a great night of awards and music for the whole community to enjoy. There will be a special guest performance with the Jazz Cats Seniors.

A student at our school, Melissa Smith has recently been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. In an effort to help with this terrible discovery the Be the Change team and the Cosmetology ladies are going to be running a hair drive from June 1-3, 2017. The campaign is called “Blonde for Bones.” If you do not want to donate hair, there will be sponsorships available and a “gofundme” page as well to help show your support. Bracelets and pins will also be sold. We thank the community in advance for helping during such a difficult time.

A “power weekend” of diploma prep called Rock The Diploma is being offered to students from all Central Alberta High Schools at Lindsay Thurber High School in Red Deer. June 9, 10, 11: Social 30-1 and English 30-1; June 16, 17, 18: Bio 30, Chem 30, and Math 30-1; and June 23, 24, 25: Chem 30, Bio 30, Math 30-2, and Phys 30. Contact the school for more information.

Football Spring Camp brochures are now available in the office for any current Grade 9, 10 or 11 students interested in playing football in the fall. The brochure has all of the information that you need, including fees, registration and equipment pick-up dates and practice dates.
